Global warming, climate change

Global warming, climate change is about sea levels rising, temperature rising and cooling drastically, and coral reefs getting damaged.
The boy and girl represent the younger generation acting upon it. The little girl is shedding light on the issue, raising awareness like a lamp to the darkness and the boy is "reading" rocks, which are transforming into books to teach us to look to nature to see the changes.

Interesting to note that this painting was completed in 2015, years before a girl named Greta Thunberg even emerged on the world stage talking about global warming.
